Nah, Floyd is going to break serious ground, breaking down the barriers like the legend he is, by being in the first cross gender match against a female MMA fighter. You just know Floyd is going to be the first one to fight a woman in the ring.
Mayweather would be looked at as a complete joke if that happened. He already looked bad enough taking that fight with Tenshin.
It wasn´t a fight. It was an exhibition. These things used to be common place way back. Heck, they still are extremely common over in Japan. They love exhibition matches. And so do I. Too bad Mayweather-Tenshin was a complete mismatch. The size difference alone was insane.
That's what was said when there were rumors of Floyd fighting McGregor and look what happened? He also fought the Japanese Flyweight kick-boxer in an exhibition match. So Floyd fighting the winner of KSI/Logan Paul certainly isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
People can cry about Mayweather-McGregor, but the whole world wanted to see it and that was the highest PPV fight in boxing history if you count the PPV buys from Europe too. Knowledgeable boxing fans knew that McGregor had zero chance, but most of the people were expecting a Conor K.O. Even Conor knew he that he doesn’t have a chance at all, but he made people believe, and Floyd was carrying and protecting him. That was a fixed fight. Floyd knocks him out in the beginning of the first round and hurts him for life if he wants. Same story in the Octagon. McGregor would destroy him inside one minute.
The thing about KSI vs. Logan Paul is that it's going to be a professional boxing match, not an exhibition like the first fight, so why shouldn't it be discussed in the general forum
McGregor vs. either of these clowns (yes, in boxing) would be an unsanctionable mismatch (in Conor's favor), let alone PBF. Or hell, so would even Tenshin vs. these guys. Stay home, if this is what you're bringing, Floyd.
KSI is a bum, but Logan Paul can certainly fight, he had a wrestling background at high school too. Floyd vs. Logan Paul could be interesting
Zero real amateur or semi-pro experience (and no, white collar exhibitions don't count) means it doesn't matter how bad he or anyone else thinks he can fight...and wrestling isn't even the least bit relevant to boxing. In the ring he needs to stay away from any serious professionals. This isn't something you can just leverage your celebrity to dabble in part-time ...unless your fights are rigged (see Mickey Rourke) or you have other forms of corruption to save your bacon (see kiwi rugby player Sonny Bill Williams' lone step up, against shot to bits Frans Botha, who but for a shady mid-fight change in round # by the commission would have knocked Williams out)
you're comparing a kick boxer (however much of a novice they were), to fighting some YouTube teen goofballs? Seriously?
