There is a incentive in both sports for guys to become upper teir fighters. There are far more boxers that are top tier but never got paid much. How long was Rigondeaux a top boxer but never got paid right? Sergio Martinez was shafted left and right even after beating Pavlik and Williams back 2 back. At the very least in MMA you HAVE to be good in order to be king. Adrien Broner beat no one and people were crowning him the next Mayweather before the Maidana fight, you never get that in MMA.

You don't get people being overhyped in MMA? Of course you do, in any sport you do. McGregors profile, big mouth and smashing up a bus injuring people in a temper tantrum, got him a short at Khabib after being out two years. That fight was about big money, Conor didn't earn it in the octagon. Dana has his favourites. Now that Nate Diaz is a 'needle mover', Dana loves him again,$$$. Just go back to when Noah Thomas and Marlon Simms had the backyard fight on TUF. Dana roared at them about 'acting like a bunch of ******s and giving this sport a bad name' promptly kicking them out of the house and permanently banning them from the UFC. Conor McGregor assaults some old guy in a bar and he says 'What's the big deal Irish people hit eachother in bars all the time?" Oh, he's a promoter all right, if you make money, you get different treatment

You picked out 1 fighter in all of MMA and he literally earned his hype by talking smack and fighting the guys he was SUPPOSED to fight. No ducking in MMA. Ain't a fan calling for their fighter to fight tune ups and bums because they won or loss a decision or took time off. McGregor, the man YOU Ddare to diss, came off of a $100 million dollar fight and fought the top undefeated lightweight in his division. Didn't have to either but he did.
Mayweather comes off a Pacquiao win and fights Berto.
Golovkin fights a nobody named Rolls.
    Fury fights a bum.
Even Jon Jones comes off suspension and fights Gustaffson.
Boxing has long lost its heart. Compared to MMA it full of punks all of them even the so call tough EE fighters. No contest in todays combat climate.

Think about that for a second.. Mate there are at least 20 people in every bar in Ireland hwo can talk smack better than Conor, he's a decent **** talker in Irish terms, nothing more.

Mate I can pick a shitload of guys who have been hyped to the ****ing moon in the UFC, remember "Mr Sports Illustrated"Roger Huerta? I bet you most MMA fans these days don't. You are saying I should give McGregor respect for getting a fight he didn't deserve for gigantic money against a guy who has shown weakness in striking, getting dropped by him then choked out? Now he might be getting a rematch, because he's Danas friend. Please don't confuse me for somebody who doesn't know the history of MMA/ THE ufc

Dana White just the other day on a McGregor vs Khabib rematch : "Conor wants the fight really badly and I know the fans want to see it, so we'll see what happens"

**** off, all McGregor has to do to get big fights is just show up it seems.

You are also using a fighter like Jon "The Sociopathic Serial Cheater" Jones as an example of a brave fighter?? Because he got a big money fight he didn't deserve after getting suspended for cheating??? How the **** is this a good thing?

It has nothing to do with MMA fighters being braver than boxers, just go back to when Fedor was the best heavyweight on the planet and the UFC tried to wipe his existence off the face of the earth because he wasn't signed to their promotion. According to the UFC, Tim Sylvia was the best heavyweight on the planet.

The fighters in the UFC fight eachother because they are under contract with the UFC and the UFC tells them who to fight, they make the big fights because the promotion owns pretty much all of the top fighters these days. Promotional conflicts are the problem

Shows that they were having a hard time finding Ajagba opponents. Mansour is not the first guy to get more than Ajagba himself, has happened quite a few times.
But it also shows that they are not investing a lot into Efe. At least not in terms of official purses.
Fingers crossed that he is actually taken care of. Dude is a solid talent.
