If AJ knocks Ruiz down hitting harder than the last time are we sure Ruiz will get up again?

In round 3 of fight 1 AJ made Ruiz fly with a tough combo. Are we sure Joshua is not able to hit harder than the last time so to knock Ruiz out?

Well if it’s the exact same as round 3, then yes he will get up, as he proved it and didn’t even appear hurt

Ruiz has a great chin, so just like I thought in the first fight I would be very surprised if Joshua managed to knock him out or stop him in the rematch. Even Wilder might not be able to stop Ruiz or knock him out.

Doubt he can hit harder as he appears to have lost mass, and I’m pretty sure that was two full force clean shots in the 3rd.

I don't see Jr going again down in the return but he's proven himself able to get off the floor and take the fight to Joshua. My biggest concern for Jr in this rematch is matchroom judges robbing him. I think he knows he has to knock him out again.

Joshua only landed 3 solid shots before the uppercut/left hook that put Ruiz down .

The combo that put Ruiz down was the only one in the entire fight .

This isn't the art of punching its boxing ,and Ruiz hit the floor with the only punching sequence by AJ.

These are the little things people just want to ignore, every other shots landed were one punch ones

Joshua only landed about 8 solid right hands ,7 being single ones that averages ONE right hand per round, hardly a reasonable gage to say AJ wont be able to hit him harder next time and at least one of those rights was getting hit at the same time . So Joshua landed very limited shots altogether .

If Joshua throws power jabs continuously and maintains them in the rematch Ruiz is in for a very bad night ,Joshua will get him with combos ,if he knocked him down with the only one he landed ,odds are Ruiz wont make it a full 12 next time,bc hes going to get hit much more .Ruiz will not dictate the fight past a long AJ jab bc the rounds Joshua did it here he had very difficult time closing the distance and those were only 2 rnds that Joshua did that in.

Smart money will be on AJ its why hes the favored ,even after the loss and most arent even looking at the numbers here which back it up even more. Joshua doesn't need to K.O him if Ruiz goes down one to many.

Ruiz did not take Joshuas right side uppercut either where he gets under it ,the one he was hit with was a middle base one to set up a power left hook at mid range . If Joshua lands that punch it WILL be harder so its not a question can AJ hit him harder ,his hardest punch IS the right uppercut on the INSIDE, he just missed it after the knocked down by a inch .

my sense is that AJ will look a little cagey and Suarez early on, but then warm up and brutally stop Ruiz around the mid way mark.

His legs were fine, so I assume so. How much harder can he throw it anyway? It was continuously repeating that combination that got him countered to begin with

Ruiz coming in lighter, might increase the bodybuilder chances. I really think the blobs weight played a big factor in absorbing Joshua's best blows. Anthony 's never had a opponent who can take his power and put him constantly on the retreat. I suspect a tired busted up Ruiz could get taken out late like Wlad. But I would rule out any early to mid range blow outs. Joshua should approach Ruiz, the same way Deontay approached Stiverne in the first fight. Plenty of lateral movement plenty of jabs.

So to use an analogy you should like. When Megatron was busted up in his draw with Optimus Prime, he changed trainer, and under Unicron, came back a better version of himself under the new nickname, Galvatron.

He might then go on to beat Ruiz in the rematch, and then another victory of someone like Ultra Magnus, say, Dillian Whyte again.

Down the line though, he ultimately lose to Rhodimus Prime, in this case, that could be Fury, Wilder or Usyk, but whoever it is, will lose.

If Ruiz knocks AJ down repeatedly will he keep getting up?

I thought the right hand AJ threw and landed on Ruiz after the knock down looked harder, and Ruiz didn’t even go down, this is after taking a big punch previously. Ruiz is a tank, AJ will need more that a hard punch or he is **** out of luck. He needs a strategy...

The matrix holder gets all the wisdom combined of the other ones. Your theory is correct if you could put Usyks and Furys brain together in Wilders body but separately they all lose.

You right I also noticed it. Maybe that right hand you refer was even heavier.
