If AJ knocks Ruiz down hitting harder than the last time are we sure Ruiz will get up again?

    This is exactly the point. AJ does not put fighters away with a single punch or even with his basic one-two. He doesn't have the power. He does, however, hit hard enough to get most fighters to clam up when clipped allowing him to unload a series of combos which either fells the fighter or gives the ref a reason to step in.

    His trouble with Ruiz isn't landing the initial combo but rests with what happens next. In going for the finish in his usual manner, he's not met by an opponent merely happy to cover up and try ride out the storm but rather a boxer prepared to punch with him, who hits hard and has faster hands and better feet.

    I expect a very cautious AJ in the rematch...
