Also you can fail a drug test, have a hearing, continue to fight and then shroud the whole issue in lawyer-induced secrecy so that no one has a clue what's going on.
I certainly think it is a loaded contract with tons of wiggle room for Top Rank and zero for Miller. That contract simply has to be loaded with provisions. We will see if Miller has the discipline to make it for the duration.
i didn't actually think he was that much of a joke opponent, i thought it was quite a decent fight. Expected an AJ win, but outside of the champs, i thought it was decent. But lineal isn't a belt, it's a status. Good to see you on here, hope all is going well mate.
Disgusting. And for those saying 'oh give him a second chance'...he's already had a second chance. In fact, he's failed 3 tests all at once, and I believe he's failed a few years previously to that. There should be no redemption because he's been given a chance to redeem already and not done so. This is totally unacceptable. This sends out an awful message that you can cheat over and over and over again, and still get away with it. Just doesn't sit right AT ALL. Top Rank should be ashamed of themselves.
Not in this case imo. This isn't a case that can be interpreted as someone reaching for the forbidden jar, as he obviously build himself from drugs. The argument could be made that he never would get where he is today the natural way, no matter how much sweat and work he put into it. And it takes years upon years to undo the effects it had on his body, so even with only a 2 year ban he still would benefit heavily from his cheating.
Bogdan Dinu must be feeling annoyed ... same as everyone else who lost a fight to him in recent years.
In one way i want him to get a sufficient ban for actions for the good of the sport. In another way I want him to see him getting a beating from a non big payday Brit such as Joyce.
