yeah, great win from Ruiz jr. but as the clock ticks on does anyone get the sense he’s having his 5mins of fame here?

I’ve gone from a Ruiz jr repeat to thinking this dude gets walloped in a couple of rounds? Nah?

Do you think AJ will land more then 3 combo sequences on Ruiz,he only landed one....2 shot combo in the entire fight last time and Ruiz was down ?

If the answer is yes then no one can pick Ruiz. lol

It Joshua is ready to improve his gas tank and stink the joint out then I reckon he will win a lop sided decision.

But will that sit well? Lennox made sure his revenge on Rahman was legit

AJ feels that familiar Ruiz power in the first round, he comes out for the second round and gets stopped by Andy.

This is different than Lewis vs Rahman. That was one big shot against a clowning Lewis.

Ruiz vs Joshua was a beat down. By the end of the fight, Joshua was beaten physically and mentally. He had no answers He was done and knew it. That has to take a psychological toll going into the rematch.

So....its an admittedly close call but I'm sticking with Ruiz.

Joshua's sparring partners have to put the heat on him every day while in training. Take him out of his comfort zone and replicate that sinking feeling that Ruiz gave him.

You cant overcome something if you cant relive it first.

Example - How else do racing drivers manage to lap 50 laps in a row within 0.1 seconds of each other? By reliving each lap over and over again.

    Weve been saying that....
Ruiz has every reason to believe he can hang with AJ again, but history has shown us otherwise.
Ruiz does have a couple things in his favor though:
He was already a legit HW, not just some chump no one ever heard of, and also, no one really knows how AJ will come back mentally. It's entirely possible that he folds up the next time as soon as the going gets tough. That may just be the type of guy he is.

But I'm going to give AJ the benefit of doubt that he has the motivation to reverse the loss....and i say that more so because I think AJ will rise to the occasion than because Ruiz will come in overconfident.

My big question mark with AJ is his stamina...and if anything, I think that can come back to haunt him

I love Andy & hope he retains but cant help but feel that AJ wins. AJ needs to just stay poised box smart behind the jab & the win will come. He goofed up last time, became a little too excited when he saw the finish was near & got caught in a reckless exchange. Lesson learned.

I'm not a big fan of either, but Ruiz took Joshua's lunch money in the first fight.

    Styles make fights
Ruiz is all wrong for Joshua and wilder.
Hunter and fury would be better more competitive fights.

    Stink out the joint ?

WTF are you talking about ?

Are you saying Lennox's win over Tua was less impressive or significant than his KO of Rahman ?

AG's goal will be to win the rematch.

His mistake the first time was to go all out to impress in the wake of Wilder's blowout of Breazale a short time earlier.

He had the tools to win but fought the wrong fight. If he does the same again, even if he's in better shape there's a slightly better than 50-50 that the same result will ensue.

He needs to keep Ruiz at the end of his jab and outbox him using his height and reach.

If Ruiz looks vulnerable in the later stages, he AJ could take some risks.

But his main aim here will be to WIN.

And if he fights that kind of fight, I'd make him the clear favourite.

I’m saying clearly Lewis went with the agenda to show it was a complete one off.

I reckon Joshua’s best chance is to Tua Ruiz yes
