is AJ heading down the same path as Audley Harrison and David Price?

We've seen it so many times in history... over over... a super hyped up fighter, who is undefeated, goes into their 20-ish fight and get's KO'd.... we all laugh at Audley and Price, but just remember your state of mind back then, everyone was on this crazy euphoric hyped trance saying "this is the heir to Klitscko's throne (Price).. Just listen to the commentators like Adam Smith on Audley's fights, same with Price's ... they were worshipping the ground they were walking on.. just saying... it's a slippery slope to jump on these guys' hype trains. just be careful.

No. Joshua has already been champion with multiple defences against good opponents.

His resume dumps on Price and Fraudley's combined.

Their paths couldn’t be more different as pros. Neither Harrison or Price had won 7 world heavyweight championships fights by their 22nd fight or unified the WBA, WBO and IBF straps. Joshua’s 24th fight is his 9th world title fight...

Strangely enough Audley has probably got a better resume than David Price

Fortune and timing also play a role in boxing success. AJ's career could have be VERY different if he'd fought the Thompson Price did. He may well have been taken into deep waters and derailed too. Or what if Ruiz had been given the decision against Parker and AJ lost to the Blob years ago ? Or what if Wlad had faced AJ in Germany instead of Fury, before he was 40, finishing the job on him in devastating fashion?

Who knows how Joshua will be after this loss, but often fighters with a style built on confident aggression aren't quite the same. Price is a good example. I doubt Joshua could come back like Price time and again and face that level of public abuse and confidence loss. Imagine AJ being stopped a number of times and then going toe to toe with Povetkin under the spotlight, very hard to believe. He'd be off making rap albums to inspire the Nigerian youth to come to the land of the inferiors for a better life.

Joshua was beaten by a top 10 world class fighter. Both Pricey and A-farce were beaten by journeymen.

I never rated him that highly. Won a paper belt vs a very poor Martin and was lucky to get past an ancient WK, not all that convincing vs Parker or Takam. A past it Povetkin took several rounds of him. Ruiz was always a live dog and stylistically I don't think he can cope with him. Just like old Bruno with Mike.

    He's already surpassed those 2.

He could end up more of a Bruno than a lewis over his next few fights but he's somewhere between those 2 imo.

Who was claiming price was going to take Klitchko's crown. I don't remember this.

Lol imagine that. Adam Smith screaming as Joshua has his seventh last chance hope against David Allen.

He's already accomplished way more than either of them. He has solid wins over Wlad, Povetkin, and Parker, and won numerous world titles.

Neither Price nor Harrison have ever even come close to winning a world title.

There’s a lot of stupid threads on this site everyday but this has to be the most stupid post of 2019... I mean are you either you are just a massive hater or you have the brain capacity of a dead frog on the side of the road if you honestly believe AJ after losing one fight to a fighter of Ruiz’s caliber is not LEVELS above Harrison and Price.

If you knew anything about boxing you’d know Ruiz has been rated ever since very early in his career and was seen as a genuine contender and touted as a future world champion since years back. His one loss against Parker wasn’t some kind of shut out and personally I expected Andy to win that and was disappointed that he just didn’t show up that night.
