I sometimes shudder to think what sort of long term damage this drastic weight cutting must be doing to boxers' kidneys and other organs. Maybe in a couple of decades' time we'll find out.

Idk, it was a year or so since last time I saw him train but from I remember he’s a lot smaller than Floyd, I thought he was a young teenager, I thought to myself “is this really the guy I heard about?!”
He looks fine. In this day and age of everyone trying to come in as big as possible, they all look drained. I've been a part of a lot of gnarly weight cuts. Carrying guys in and out of Epsom salt and isopropyl alcohol baths, dudes covered in Sweetsweat riding the bike in the sauna while being held upright so they don't fall off the bike, dudes crawling on their hands and knees across the hotel room floor to get to the scale to check their weight. It's just a part of the sacrifice fighters make these days to come in big. But, the human body is very resilient and Haney is only 20.
