I understand that Canelo is in his prime and Kovalev is old, but still, a small 160 fighter against a 175 champion who just won by knock out against Yarde. I think it’s a 50-50 fight. Canelo is a bigger favourite now as Golovkin against Deveryachenko. Anyway we all have to give credit to Canelo for taking this fight.
Ginger nuts has a granite chin with a good defence and Kov's power is on the wain. DLH will wheel in judges like Byrd Brain to ensure a "certain result". So Kov would have to ko ginger nuts and that looks fairly unlikely imho.
I don't understand how bookies can price this properly without any details of catchweight/rehydration clause. +400 on Kovalev is too tempting to not throw down on. Kov is a much bigger ask than GGG or Jacobs at 160, if Canelo can't get past the jab this will end up looking like Spence-Garcia.
