According to Gomez. They had a back up in place for Sparrow.

Golden Boy knew about the warrant of arrest for Sparrow and they told Garcia's team that Duno was the replacement.

Garcia is quacking he didn't know and doesn't want the fight.

I don't blame Ryan Garcia at all. He is very young and also in the early stages of his career. Any fighter who wants a great career, a long lasting career, and a great resume needs to be matched and prepared properly, especially at the start of their career.

I respect Team Garcia for declining the late change in opponent.

This is brilliant publicity on twitter and media for the kid.

Ryan Garcia is going to become a huge star soon.

He's young, good looking, popular and has massive appeal. He is also social media savvy too. That is a star in the making. Should Team Garcia carefully manage him and build his resume smoothly, they all stand to make a ton of cash.

Not a big surprise they ducked Duno here. Duno is legit.

I think fight between Garcia and Duno might happen on CLENelo vs Kovalev undercard.

Kingry officially ducked Duno twice. First on July now today.

Golden boy wanted Kingry to fight Duno on Mexican independence. Ryan chucked a hissy fit because he wasn't the main event.

Sparrow gets arrested they were told Duno is the replacement they said no one told them and no they will not fight etc.

Duno's power and heart is legit. But he needs a top technical trainer to fix some flaws on the technical side of his game.

What a coward and hypejob this kid is. I don't even know who the **** Duno is, I think I've seen him fight once, and he was extremely crude. The fact that Garcia would duck an opponent like that just shows how little confidence he is in himself, and knows he got exposed badly by Morales and is just going to fight garbage ass opposition.

Check him out, he's decent enough imo. With a good team the kid could develop. I'd slap 50-100$ on Duno to beat Ryan Garcia depending on the odds

    He's not a real Mexican?

To do this on Mexican Independence that the fore fathers fought valiantly for the liberation of the mother land is just not a good look. However I understand from a business point of view. Kid is not ready.

On the FLIP side Duno has been thrown in deep waters at early age fighting in Russia and in America against good opponents.

Stuff like that happens all the time between fighters, their management, and promoters. You have to figure that GBP sees a huge amount of money to be made with Ryan Garcia so they would have an interest in taking care of him.

But if he gets too demanding, or his manager is too hard to work with, they'll get him beat. No point in him moving on and making the money for somebody else.
