There is no consistency with Canelo critics, its comical.

A weight drain is a weight drain, period. Many people were saying Canelo was looking dead at 154, 2 more pounds is 2 more pounds.

Also, if Kovalev or any other fighter for that matter is an IBF champion, then you give no credit to the opponent since they need to adhere to a re-hydration clause? So do you even recognize the IBF as a legitimate title since they have that clause?

You ****ing moron. There's context to everything. I'm a Canelo critic now? STFU moron.

I love how you conveniently pick and choose what parts of my post to respond to. Completely ignored the fact that Canelo was 153 against Trout, and went down 1 pound. Go play in traffic.

Because Kov is SHOT to pieces. He almost got stopped last fight by basically a untested boxer.
The only reason why he was chosen for Canelo is hes SHOT.
Notice Canelo has mentioned any of the other champions in the division- both younger, fresher the Kov.

I for one agree that Canelo was depleted at 152. It's clear that he was killing himself to make 154 and those extra two lb had a large effect on him. He looks much, much better at higher weights.

Kovalev is on the way down. Its purported he drinks and smokes while training.

Oscar and his team see Kovalev as vulnerable.

Kovalev, in the twilight of his career is likely to agree to contract stipulations put out by Canelo's team. One last big payday for Kovalev.

Granted I'm engaging in some speculation here but I think I'm on the right track.

I personally don't take anything away from Mayweather for beating Canelo at 152. Canelo agreed to the weight, so it's on him if he felt comfortable fighting there.

What I didn't like was that it was for a championship, and I recognize that Canelo was green.

I'm just showing ellerbee his double standard
