He was lucky, but big John also advised his son to fight Bellew instead of Wilder before Tyson parted ways with Peter. Hardly an impartial opinion.

He told him to forget about the cut after it opened up, to stay calm, not panic, and stick to his boxing. Not much more he can do in a tough spot like that. Tyson is his own man so will do what he wants regardless. Ben is there to steady the ship and be a calming influence which he seems to be good at.

Agree. If Wallin was landing on Fury, Sanders would punch a hole through him. And no-defense Wilder would go straight to the ambulance from the ring after the fight. There's some decent looking HW's in the wings. One can only hope.
