Did fury took Wallin way too lightly like Joshua took Ruiz lightly in the first fight?

No he took his CrossFit training way too seriously.

Fury is an addict in all walks of life, and now he’s getting his high off of cardio.

He needs weight on ASAP

 

No Fury didnt take him lightly. Fury is spent like when Haye made his return. Fury is doing the same, fighting low level opposition and trying fleece PPV money out of fans who mistakenly believe he is the fighter that he used to be.

 

Wallin is tricky. I was surprised as I thought he was fairly hopeless, considering he failed to put Zumbano Love away. Then again Parker went 12 ugly rounds with Cojanu of all people. Wallin isnt far out of the top10 and would give the likes of Parker hard fights. Wallin implemented a game plan that threw Fury off, showed good defence and simply had the big man worked out. Fury's size and veteran tactics got him over the line. A bad stylistic match up for Fury against a southpaw who didn't offer too many openings for Tyson. Wallin would destroy the likes of Schwarz IMO.

If the cuts heal well then ultimately I think those 12 rounds will have done him good..

Fights like that sharpen the instinct, make u harder around the edges, & reinvigorate u somewhat.. rather than just bored coasting & going through the motions.. one worry I do have is the skills are all there still but the punch power is fairly poor & his physicality doesn't seem be what it once was.. Adjustments need to be made .. strength & conditioning.. his conditioning is fine but strength wise he looks pretty weak relatively speaking.. this guy was man handling durable hardened HWs like Chisora, Hammer etc back in the day.. he looked a bit too gangly & lacked any real spite & stature in the ring last night somewhat.. don't get me wrong, it's not bodybuilding but at HW you still need that brute core strength.. Wasn't as sharp as his last two fights either.. he's smart though.. knows what he's doing.. they'll work on it all.. plus he'll know what to expect from Wilder this time round.. & Wilder is really lacking in rounds lately too! Fury will be primed.. sharpen up for February Tyson lad.. get on the weetabix ar kid..

& people have short memories.. Wilder has had numerous nights in which he was dropping rounds against sub par opposition..

 

Wallin wasn't a replacement, so....no. It should keep Fury in his lane though but probably wont.

Fury did have distractions though ,signing other fights and concerned about entertaining first then fighting. He knew he was in a real fight after the first round and I said it would be to late for him to be more focused then he should be .

I told you guys this was a preview of Usyk vs Fury should they ever meet. Wallin is a real fighter,you have to recognize that,those who couldn't decipher him and Schwartz need to ask yourselves, what are you watching ? lol

 

His performance against Schwarz might've made him reckless.

It was totally one-sided and dominant -- so he might've made him think he could get away with preparing less.

Although maybe that's giving Wallin too little credit. He had a great strategy of basically sprinting in under Fury's jabs while swinging, which really seemed to **** with Fury.

 

Likely a combination of factors. Wallin being better than expected, Fury taking him lightly, Southpaw stance, questionable team and of course the cut.

I believe so. A good wake up call for him going forward to stay focused on the job instead of thinking about winning new fans and thinking about bigger fights. Wallin was always better than what people gave him credit for.

 

Wallin is a glorified sparring partner with zero power and even he wobbled Fury.

Bowe/Foreman/Tyson even Tommy Morrison would have walked thru that bum like a hot knife thru butter.

Bowe/Tyson/Foreman would have b eaten that no hoper in their Pro debut.
