That was a deep cut and it will open again even after 5 years. It will never heal permanently.

Fury will suffer from it all his career, an intelligent and smart trainer would prepare his fighter against Fury by showing that cut mark as Fury's weak spot.

Someone with a strong left hook, like Povetkin, will catch that cut and TKO Fury.

Gabe Rosado got his eyes fixed. So there is hope.

Probably not that's a really bad cut and it could very well plague him in later fights. Fury will probably only be around for a few more fights though.

Fury's done the hard part. He got through to the fight to earn the mega millions.

Worst case scenario is that he loses to Wilder due to the cut, still earning millions in the process.

Wilder will target that if they fight next.
Looks like a long layoff / recovery several months then a few more Tom Schwarz level opponents.

Only thing is wilder could barely land on fury last time, he can hardly target a specific cut, he will just be happy to hit him anywhere

Povetkin can't beat Fury. He's too small and at too many disadvantages.

Tony Bellews laceration was as bad. He adapted and protected it using his high ring Iq.

I don't think the cut is in as much danger of being opened again in the wilder fight. Wilder is a sniper killer looking for 1 or 2 shots, not a shorter rough house left hooker barging in.
