Kova by stoppage is the current lead. Interesting.

I definitely dont think Kova stops Canelo. Out of all the outcomes, for me thats the lowest probability, just imo.

I kind of wonder how far past prime a champ two weights up has to be to make a fight even odds with a prime champ two weights lower. Where do those two lines cross?

Kovalev by corner stoppage for me. His jab will break down Canelo. There is still the chance Canelo comes to the fight roided out of his mind with a bulked up neck and Kovalev's punches bounce off his roid head.

I think it will be much closer than that. I expect Canelo to have some success in there... I do think his strong presence in the pocket combined with his quick, crisp punching on the inside is going to give Kova some issues.

I'd pick a non-weight drained Kovalev by UD or KO. If he's the zombie version then Canelo will UD him.

I agree with this. While dirty tricks may be a part of Canelo's road to success, they're not the only factor. He really is a fantastic boxer with great defence and is muy rapido with the combinations. He's going to have some success during the fight.

Well I think Ward easily got the better of Kovalev in those fights once he adjusted. I think GGG won the first fight, and Canelo clearly won the second fight.
I don’t think Kovalev punches harder than 160 GGG, and I think GGG is a better boxer than Kovalev. Being shorter than Kovalev is an advantage, and Kovalev can’t take it to the body.
Kovalev is on his way out, and Canelo is still in his prime and getting better. Kovalev is going to be punching down at a far faster fighter than he is used to, at a fighter who has a very good chin who is going to be throwing body shot combinations.
I do think it’s an easy fight for Canelo, so does his team who have pushed hard to make the fight happen. Prepare to see Kovalev stopped, a win for him is if he makes it to the final bell.

Kovalev is no Rocky Fielding type punk, he's going to go in there to do a demolition job on a bloated Middleweight.

I've voted for the result I expect to see (Canelo UD) rather than the result I'd wish to see. Canelo is the younger, fresher, major A-side guy, and the fight is in Vegas. GGG was denied the decision vs Canelo already. Yes, Kovalev has the size advantage, but he doesn't use physicality that much in his style. And say what you will about Canelo, but the man has a granite chin. So I believe this goes the distance, Canelo wins on the cards, but I will be rooting for Krusher, from a human perspective. The guy's had it tough over the years, he deserves a break. Canelo is still young and will continue to build his resume over the years, so will still remain a major draw in the sport, win or lose this November.

Let's hope they aren't this huggy on Saturday. :deal: (at least until after the bell to end round twelve...or, you know, whatever outcome develops organically in due course. :D)

That's just the camera angle, maaaaan. And, like, fancy lighting trickery. Canelo dwarfs over him, brooo. He's like two Kovalev's. He could eat the whole Mexicow, the boar, and Kovalev in, like, two-and-a-half sittings.
