I believe Wilder will end Fury very quickly next time, very quickly. It will be light work if Wilder attacks Fury from the opening bell and shows him very little respect, the exact same way he went at Breazeale. I've seen so many people say "it was just an off night", I see something else. Fury is 31 years old, he hasn't "lived the life", he has abused himself with alcohol, drugs and food, Fury isn't a young fresh 31 year old, his skin tore open last night with a very average punch, signs his skin is starting to weaken, that cut was horrific and in my opinion Fury should have been stopped. I believe those years are just now starting to return to haunt him, Fury had very little punch power (even his own Father said the same), but Fury has never been a big puncher, his output was average, his stamina was questionable. Fury was hurt in the last round also and back peddled and most importantly to me it looks like his relflexes are just starting to go. The way Fury bent in half and relied on the referee to stop Wallins attacks and bent over to avoid punches instead of slipping punches, turning Wallin, even tying Wallin up, it tells me Fury knows they are going and once those reflexes go, Fury is finished. Fury does have heart, courage and a will to win, but I believe he is going to find out the hard way when he fights Wilder that those years of craziness have hurt him, have shortened his career and his time is over.
If Wilder tries that I really believe he'll get knocked out. The 12th round in their first fight where Wilder tried to finish it then got hit so hard that he stopped pressing for the KO completely will haunt him. I don't think Fury's reflexes have started to go I think there is substance to what Big John Fury has been saying about Tyson being to drained at any weight below 19 stone.
Tyson will take his training camp seriously for AJ... U think he took his camp seriously preparing for Wallin? lol... Fury always looks bad against low-tier opposition, but he always looks good against high-tier opposition.
I've always thought AJ matches up well with Fury. He can box with Fury without being dominated, and will eventually land shots to hurt him.
Fury is done. Wilder took his soul. Wallin took his reputation and Whyte would take the wind out of 'em.
I have to rewatch this fight again, you guys are starting to influence me into seeing what I didn't see the first time and what I instinctively saw was Fury winning quite wide.
That's my thoughts, AJ has the skills to box with Fury and land big shots be that straight rights, left hooks or uppercuts. Against Wilder he just had to avoid that right hand.
Can there be any doubt whatsoever that AJ wrecks Fury? AJ would turn Fury into Gypsy puree. I've said it a million times, styles make fights. AJ ain't one dimensional like Wilder, he has a versatile combo of punches going to the body, uppercut, hook, you never know whats coming.
If anything, Fury stops AJ.. AJ has no stamina in late rounds.. Imagine how much energy he'd burn swinging & missing v Fury for 6+ rounds, he'd be out on his feet
I think Wallin did well because he came out and threw punches at Fury's chest and body to start the fight, and nobody has really done that . Had Wallin been a seasoned fighter with stamina he'd have stopped Fury.
You have to hand it to the Fury fanboys, great ability to type on a keyboard whilst have their heads up Fury’s arse!
Assessing Fury going forward based solely on the Wallin, and concluding he's cooked makes me laugh. Firstly, hand on heart, how many people knew much about Wallin before this fight - or had even watched him fight - and just assumed he was not up to much because he's not been mixing at world level? Let's see him in with a Pulev or Parker before deciding if he is an average boxer who exposed a myth, or a much better fighter than we gave him credit for. Then there are the cuts, which are never mentioned by those leaping on an apparently poor showing by Fury as evidence he's a 'hype job'. Don't take my word for it. This is what Andy Lee has to say: "You are hugely affected by a cut like that. It is so draining but when you overcome a fight like that, it kind of builds your resolve. You think 'nothing can be as bad as this so what have I got to worry about?'" You can't under-estimate how those cuts impacted on the path of the fight. Finally, everyone is allowed an off-night, if that was what we witnessed irrespective of the above. Let's see what he produces the next time he's in the ring, and that might be vs Wilder. And the last time they fought Wilder under-estimated him only to get a boxing lesson. Has Fury been given too much credit based on what he's achieved? Probably. But he's a top boxer and a real threat to all top heavyweights. But hey, if your boxing knowledge doesn't accommodate any of Wallin's back-catalogue, just assume he's useless and so is Fury...
AJ is too slow and ponderous for Fury. If Wilder can't KO Fury, AJ can't either And I don't like Fury, all 3 of them are unlikeable to me in their own ways.
