Liston said he was the hardest puncher he ever fought. That is a pretty decent testimony.

Nobody with Chuvalo chin, but quite a few with his size and quite a few with more power.

That s about it in comparison, his chin Power wise, no way do I see Jeffries opponents lasting half as long as they did facing Tua. Jeffries had strength not amazing power imo.

Just for more lunacy on the claim that Jeffiries high jumped 5-10 from standing position...

Dwight Stones, two time bronze medalist in the Olympic High Jump and holder of a personal record of over 7 feet and 8 inches, tried the standing high jump and only managed 4 foot 9 inches.

    Ewry's record was 5-5.

And you want me to believe that Jeffries weighing 40 pounds more (a true detriment in the jumping events) managed 5-10?

Next thing you know, you'll tell me that Jeffries carrying a bull on his back was a lie, even though we all know damn well he started practicing with it when it was still a calf and grew his strength day by day as the calf grew up.

In his era Jeffries was looked upon as a superman ,muscular , 200lbs + ,standing 6 foot even he was impressive.Today he would be an unremarkable physical specimen as a boxer.

To be fair, put him on modern PED's and training, and there's some serious upside there with the natural base he had to start with. Tall tales aside, the dude did have some great raw tools going for him.
