Well guys like George Chuvalo, Oliver McCall, or Tua wouldn't have gone down to began with. Larry Holmes had a solid chin but Larry Holmes was also knocked down and hurt badly by Renaldo Snipes. Also the Earnie Shavers punching power thing is overrated. I know what some people will type but Ali said Earnie Shavers punched him the hardest so that must mean someting. Ali was knocked down and almost out by Henry Cooper and he was knocked down by Joe Frazier. Earnie Shavers landed his best punches and couldn't knock down Ali. But Ron Lyle said Shavers punched harder than Foreman. Well a rusty Foreman knocked out Lyle while Shavers couldn't. It is like somebody stated in another thread. Lennox Lewis knocked out Shannon Briggs but Briggs claimed Vitali Klitschko punched harder. Some fighters just don't want to give other fighters credit.

In any case I doubt a in shape Foreman would of been phased by that punch. Neither would guys like Mike Tyson, Ike Ibeabuchi, Tex Cobb ect. So they wouldn't have to get up since they would of never been knocked down.

that punch was a bomb and possibly one of the strongest punches thrown on film, problem with shavers was that he had horrible accuracy and if he didn't he would have been champion for a long time.

Dude, are you serious? By your dumbass logic, Jorge Linares is one of the most devastating punchers today. Linares has slept more fighters on film than GGG, Kovalev, Beterbiev, and Kudryashov. Does that make Linares a bigger puncher p4p than those guys?

I would like to know which punch was more devastating than the other between Tyson knocked down Holems in round 6 and this one of Shavers?

Linares throws flurries and shoeshines guys. What sort of stupid comparison is that?

They were about the same, maybe a slight edge to Tyson as Holmes was more discombobulated when he stood up.

Linares has put more guys to sleep than all of the names I mentioned before on film. Just go through some of his KO wins; many are one punch which put his man to sleep. I never said anything about Linares' shoeshining so try staying on topic. The ability to sleep an opponent is not a perfect measurement of power. That is the point I was making.
