Yes but Wallin doesn’t hit hard enough or moves well enough for Chisora to respect him, Chisora eats him up. Well, hopefully we see Wallin fights soon again against a quality opponent so we can actually see what he can do. To me it looked like Fury made Wallin look better than he is, he took him way too lightly, wasn’t prepared and fought in desperation to win. I’m a Fury hater and never thought much of him but I never seen him this sloppy&bad, if he fights like this against Wilder he dies.
OK, it's here, I knew it wouldn't be very long... "Wallin top 3 heavyweight" FFS have a day off. It just had to happen, ive seen it on twitter but I thought we were better.. delusional Fury fans out in force making excuses and trying to convince people Otto from the Simpsons is a future great. Fury was awful, his own father said he was awful, his own father started saying he should sack his team, that's how bad he looked.. But NO, we have to debate if Wallin is a top 3 heavyweight.. in front of who? Whyte? Parker? Ruiz? AJ? Wilder? Ortiz? Oscar Rivas? Pulev? Kownacki? I'm not even mentioning the like of Hrgovic for example. If what you're saying is true or even remotely close to be true, Wallin has to be above all but ONE of those names, assuming Fury is number 1. So explain how Otto from the Simpsons beats all of those please, I'll wait.
One thing I will agree with you, and I have mentioned previously, I haven’t seen fury look as bad since McDermott 1. Whether that was down to fury or wallin....we will find out in due course.
I think the whole thread title is just a joke mate, and a clever way to start a discussion about where wallin truly stands. As I say probably 15-20, and will reserve any further comment until he next fights.
Respect your views and backed up with a bit of conversation and as to why you think wallin loses. That’s all we need people
Maybe it was tongue in cheek, maybe it was just trying to start a true debate but I feel (after seeing very similar on twitter) that this is Fury fans excusing a really poor performance, making up reasons about desperately worrying signs. Fury looked terrible, so terrible I don't think Wilder will be next, they'll use the cut as an excuse, they'll need more time to heal, probably more plastic surgery and delay the Wilder fight until next summer and have another little "warm up" first against a poor opponent because Fury won't want to go in to a Wilder fight off of that performance and mayeb with a new team. Wallin is bang average, I mean bang average, if Fury had any sort of natural power he would and should have knocked Wallin out. Fury fans can't handle the thought of having to deal with reality, the reality of what they saw, so they are doing the old "time will tell, we will find out in the future just how good Wallin is" and trying to kick the real fight discussion and performance down the road. They don't want to truly discuss Furys flaws, they just want to pretend we are watching a Heavyweight Willie Pep and it's simply not the case. When AJ got slapped around by Ruiz, a smaller, overweight fighter the Fury fans were not saying "AJ took him lightly, he wasn't focused, he overlooked him" and any AJ fan that said that was truly rinsed. But now, Fury seriously struggles, his own father weighs in and we are getting "Fury didn't take this opponent seriously, he was over confident and underprepared" So if that's the case, Fury and his team of experts, Fury being a "fighting man" from a "fighting family" and "heavyweight expert" also believes or believed Wallin was a pile of turd because he didn't have to take him seriously?.. It makes zero sense to me, Because now it's a debate if Otto is top 3 because a Underprepared, overconfident and lazy Fury went the distance with him.. so how would that make him genuine top 3 or anywhere near it if Fury wasn't at his best?
Wallen needs to fight a Parker/Whyte level opponent next. Assuming he wins that, then he’ll certainly be top five-top six IMO
I'd say No 1 he beat Fury TKO 6, was only for the fact it was Fury's show did they let Fury fight on..
