I only deal with the facts, bruv. Yes everybody and even Joshua thought Joshua v Whyte is the true rivalry and it was also largely hyped by the media. But the reality proved otherwise. Joshua was a successful world champion and Dillian was never in a title shot and they never had their rematch. In reality Delboy proved to be the arch rival and had a larger part in Dillian's boxing journey.
lol large part? Why? Because he took Dillian 12 rounds? Oh wow...okay. And how many other guys has Chisora taken 12 rounds? Didn't Wallin take Fury 12 rounds? Is that a rivalry now? I think the word you are looking for is feud not rivarly. I can see how you got confused. Chisora is clearly tough for many guys, a top 15/top 10 today. And he was particular motivated for Whyte given the tension, the beef, the feud. Not the rivalry. Rivalry was between AJ and Whyte before the media got involved... the media merely used the rivalry as a platform based on the amateur loss of AJ. Now they are one and one a piece. AJ was less experienced than Dillian in the amateurs, and Whyte was less experienced when they fought in the pro's with only 7 amateur fights versus AJ's 60+ and olympic team GB pedigree. Now their next meeting will conclude, who is the better man. And my money is on Dillian, the same way Ruiz did Joshua. Dillian is the most improved heavyweight period. Ten wins in a row since losing to AJ, find me another man who has done the same? You can't? Yeah I know you can't.
He took Dillian 23 rounds. Large part because they had two fights, 23 rounds and an on-going feud outside the ring. Both fights watched and loved by many viewers. All that combined is a rivalry. He and Joshua had 1 amateur fight nobody cared about at the time, 7 rounds in the pros and then nothing. Which one had a bigger part in Dillian's boxing journey? To me the answer is quite obvious.
I see I am being referred to in the third person, which is very normal thing to do... in an online forum.
Okay so then the question becomes, is it a rivalry based on the external view of the fans and the analysts? Or is it a rivalry, because the two persons directly involved, agree it is a rivalry? Because I've never seen Chisora say Whyte was his rival, or vice versa... but Whyte and AJ have both called each other rivals and enemies. On personal level, the amateur fight impacted both.. to justify a sense of rivalry within each self. Who are we to dictate, or say any different? You can believe what you want. I personally see what is true, based on the facts and what was confirmed by the two directly involved. And what wasn't confirmed by Dillian and Chisora. And guess what... if you asked Dillian and Chisora if they saw each other as Rivals... what do you think they would say to you? Or do you not care what they say LOL? Just what you believe in your head.
Whats actually happening with Dillian ? Before the drug stuff he was bashing out tweets daily about Wilder, Joshua, Fury etc. Theres nothing coming from him now.
For strict confidentiality reasons Whyte has been told to keep his mouth closed, and anyone close to him, to keep their mouths closed. In early October a final hearind with UKAD will take place to conclude the situation. At that point Whyte will release a statement. We, including Whyte, are all waiting for the final hearing before a statement can be issued to the public.
Wuuuuut hol' up here. Are you actually admitting you are part of TeamWhyte? If so actually this madness makes sense.
If you have done nothing wrong and perfectly innocent and havent failed any tests there is NOTHING you can say that will change that.
I actually like this post. I feel studied, and analysed. Thank you for the attention. Besides a carpenter, is never just... a carpenter. We are all many things.
But that is a very black and whyte view on the situation, where the handling of adverse findings is actually quite complex. It isn't as simple as you put it. If it was that simple, an NADP hearing and panel simply wouldn't exist. Why would you pay all these consultants, and medical, legal, physio, sports science experts a ton of cash to have them attend a hearing, and dissect the evidence? It's a complicated process, and due process is taking place. Leave it to the professionals, plenty of independent people involved.
