Again, it was the last round, and Wlad outweighed him by 35 pounds, and Chambers had zero power. He shouldn't even have been there. Takes some (or quite a bit) of the shine off of it. If you watch Emanuel Steward in the corner with Wlad before the 12th round started ... Steward is thoroughly disgusted with Wlad and his lack of aggression and the fact that he's afraid to throw punches at a guy who is much smaller and can't punch. And Klitschko whines: "I'm trying, Manny." And Steward doesn't want to hear it. He says, "We don't need another bull**** decision." And Vitali's looking at Wlad like "What are you afraid of?" It's funny that now, nine years later, people here are trying to prop this up as some great moment in Wlad's career. His brother and his trainer thought he was fighting cowardly. Go to 101:50. Given how little Wilder ways for a modern HW I'd probably say he hits the hardest of them, which is something I never used to be sure of. That's purely his right hand though. Wlad's left hook and jab are harder than Wilder's I would say
Lol! speaking of Steward he also said many times that Wlad had the most power of anybody he trained. He raved about Wlad’s power. Said he’d “Be the most devastating heavyweight in history if he’d just be more aggressive” And you talk about “disgusted”?? Lol Look at Stewards face after the knockout while Chambers is still face down snoring. No disgust there!
MVC is right - Wilder does have a great defence. Fighting awful opposition is probably the best form of defence available.
Your medical endeavors were below mediocre. Herol Graham’s resume is mediocre. Khans chin is below mediocre
Wilders power comes from his anger. When someone of "those four" will knock him down all the castle of sand built around his elusive strength will crumble. Technically is a limited fighter. Instead W. Klitschko was a powerful and complete fighter.
He`s very fast and speed leads to power often, McCallum said Jackson had faster hands than any other fighter he faced, and that speed was partly what added power to Jackson`s shots, same with Mike Tyson.
