Saying 'Floyd beats Lomachenko easy' is the same as saying Hearns beats Floyd easy

    Having watched Loma fight for some time at 135lbs, I feel very confident that Floyd--with his reach and superb boxing IQ--would decision the Ukrainian. Simply stated, Floyd was better at the weight.

    Alternatively, at 130lbs, Floyd-Loma is an absolute barn burner. And anyone who throws out that "levels" bull**** to suggest Floyd wins handily at super feather is either a bigot (and, yeah, you know who you are), a liar, or an ignoramus.

    Spot on.

    Mayweather gets credit for being such a smaller fighter that beat bigger fighters all the time, but he rarely fought with a significant dimensional disadvantage.

    I really wanted to see that fight. Wouldve been interesting to see FlIVd against that style of fighter. My dream fight wouldve been FlIVd vs Sergio at 154lbs. That wouldve been great.

    Skills being equal the good bigger man will almost always beat the good smaller man. So yes, Floyd would beat Loma & Tommy would beat Floyd.

    Floyd Mayweather would beat Loma by easy decision. Tommy Hearns would knock out Floyd Mayweather in a few rounds.

    Loma is more skilled on the front foot than Floyd was and is a more creative offensive fifghter as was Hearns.

    Floyd barley cuts any weight for 147 and to my knowledge cut no weight when he stepped up to fight Oscar, Miguel and Canelo

    Loma is a wonderful boxer, but I am surprised how many think he is in the same league as Floyd or Manny.

    Quite baffling imo.

    I haven't said he is in the same league. I'm saying Lomachenko is fighting through more size discrepancy than Floyd did. Floyd was a bit smaller in weight-wise but he wasn't a midget or anything in welterweight. As I've said he almost never gave up his reach advantage.
