Agreed, but to be fair he's had issues outside of the ring which have contributed to stalling his progress and let's not lose sight of the fact that he does feature in my official Top 10 Most Handsome Boxers Rankings or that he'd beat the crap out of Caleb Plant and Clenelo's asses if either of them can ever somehow manage to summon the courage to take the Anthony Sims Jr. challenge. FTR neither of those clowns do or ever will feature in my official Top 10 Most Handsome Boxers Rankings.
Briedis is not active enough and recently started compensating by employing ugly tactics. Ryder is... well... Ryder. Never been able to explain why I like him, so there’s that. Usyk’s rabbit teeth’s bother me for some reason. Lomachenko is getting old. Also seems easy to drop when tagged. Canelo is an absolute scumbag. Great fighter though. Pacman messed up prior and during the fight vs Floyd. Now there’s the never ending gloating from TMT followers.
Manny Pacquiao for having balls of steel and consistently taking on the biggest challenges, ducking no one, and giving up size/age/PED advantages.
Honestly he should come in like a complete lunatic! Shaved head, beard, don’t shave his chest or back, don’t shower so he stinks like a caveman in clinches. Make canelo feel like it’s 2011 again
Kovalev drinks too much (hopefully not anymore) and has bad stamina. Wlad if his opponent doesn't bring the fight to him, can be mindnumbingly dull. Sergio Martinez got hit way too much.
My man Brondigity loses whenever he steps up he doesn't throw enough punches he gets intimidated and backs off because he is worried about getting knocked out, he doesn't fight often enough and should be more disciplined and fight at 140 he has no business at 147. My man Fury goofs off too much and fights to the level of his opposition I really think he could be a dominant champion for years to come if he was a little more serious. My man Anthony Mundine made a lot of bad career choices, he may never have been elite but could of had some good fights and a better career if he stayed at 168 and 160 and taken more risks. I really just wish he would retire but I doubt that he will anytime soon.
Joseph Parker is entirely too trusting of his team and lacks the dog to really make the most of his physical talents. GGG spent years duping his fans into believing he would fight Ward when he clearly had no intentions of doing so. Tyson Fury is a cherry picker, a hypocrite and an annoying prat. Still kinda like him though.
Wlad laid eggs in some of his biggest fights when HBO would try to showcase him and get him back to the spotlight he would have a letdown performance like his fights with Haye and Povetkin and Fury. Though I put way more blame on Haye Tarver turned up some real nothing performances vs Hopkins and Dawson Hopkins started knocking Taylor around the ring in the 11th and 12th but rather than going for the kill when it seemed obvious he was ahead he would stop punching and keep doing this shoulder shimmy taunt, I kind of expected more urgency out of a much more experienced champion Edison Miranda could not fight well going back and seemed to never regain what he lost vs Pavlik Caleb Truax really put up a whimper of an effort in the DeGale rematch and lost his title
Change his name from the Krusher to the Stinker Kovalev. That would instantly make him my favorite fighter today.
As if Felix Diaz was anything to write home about. And don't bring up his Gold Medal because he just wasn't a very good pro, and he loses to bums too.
