Could Wlad Klitschko punch as hard as Deontay Wilder?

That shot actually looked tame compared to the hook Wlad sunk Pulev with, however I`m pretty certain the right hand that crushed Breazale would have put this guy away, Ido watch Chambers work the pads with coath Anthony who knows all the moves in boxing, so respect on that front.

Have you shared the ring with both of them? Anyway sanders was much better boxer and hit very hard.

the same way Fury stopped Cunningham. Wlad hadn't been floored and getting a boxing lesson from a forty year old like Fury though.

Fury always mouths off how he can beat guys with one hand. Wlad actually did. Austin is old enough now that fury might fight him.

Even if that were true, Fury has no power and is no threat to anybody in that respect. Sanders had an entire arsenal of punches at his disposal and made good use of them.

Wilder generates his power with speed. That one shot to Brezeale, was not loaded, just one step in, BAM!

WIad & Vitali IMO are more powerful, in that HW's can kinda see the punch, but can't do anything about it. Wilder's punch is pretty quick, making it the one they don't see.

I'd say Wlad's power is more proven against top opposition.

    On the contrary.

Wlad didn't stop Fury. Wlad didn't stop Joshua. Wlad didn't stop Povetkin. Wlad didn't stop Haye. Wlad didn't stop Ibragimov. Wlad didn't stop Sanders. Wlad didn't stop Jennings. Wlad didn't stop Byrd, Peter and Brewster when they were what you'd call near prime, he not only couldn't stop them he couldn't stay off the floor himself. I think Wlad was floored like a dozen times collectively against them, not counting journeymen like Williamson and Puritty who he didn't stop and had him down.

(Wlad waited and only faced Peter and Brewster later when they were both past it and called in as late subs and Brewster was legally blind in one eye.)

Most of Wlad's KOs came over second-tier guys.

When you list off the top names on Wlad's resume, those are the guys he tended not to stop and usually went down against.

Who's the best guy Wilder knocked out? Old, past it Liakhovich? Glass-jawed Szpilka?

Luis Ortiz. And Wilder's career isn't over yet. Wlad's is.

Who is the best guy Wlad knocked out? Pulev?

When you list all the top names Wlad fought, it seems Wlad was knocked down more against them than he knocked them down.

So I disagree that his power is more proven against top opposition.

The best opponent Wilder has knocked out in 41 fights is an ancient Ortiz? That's really sad.
