I believe Bantamweight is not Inoue calling.. seeing how easily he despatched Rodriguez I don't believe Tete nor Nery will provide any challenges. I don't like Donaire chances at all come the end of the year. What about a showdown with Navarette, a big strong super bantamweight in his prime. This a match up i'm salivating. Navarette likes to throw that long uppercut from mid range and I see The Monster clip him first with a left hook and flattened him. What do ESBs think?
He can still fight Estrada at BW and highly challenged, they're the same size and Monsta actually started lower so there's that P4P challenge, providing he can get past HoF-er Donaire, which is not a given. And for the same reason Inoue will be undersized vs. natural SFWs cutting down to SBW such as Navarrete. That's exciting but perhaps a bridge too far, I'm in the minority saying he's no Pac-like weight-grower, and would be in a far more even physical fight vs. Rigo, who's not that big or physical. Size4size Nery-Navarrete is a more even fight for Mexican sweepstakes. But hell yeah, bring Inoue vs. 115-126 elite, I'll weatch.
Think Inoue may stick around 118 for a little bit. He already looks undersized there despite his stunning wins. Its like with Lomachenko. Just because he CAN win fights at higher weights, doesnt necessarily mean its optimal.
Naverette ls massive for the weight he is in way like Nonito Donaire but with a better engine has better stamina and durable. Doesn't have the explosive punch but he grinds you down.
When Inoue goes up the weights Navarette will be one of the harder fights he takes,Roman & Vargas Inoue beats by KO. Also I feel Inoue can clear out all guys @ 126lb & I'm a big fan of Josh but sad to say Inoue beats him.
I don't see it as a mismatch at all. Navarette is big and relentless. I just think that Inoue is straighter and compact with his punches and will clip him big.
Inoue Estrada would be a big mismatch. Estrada struggled with SSR. Inoue is bigger than SSR, longer, a much better boxer, faster, and even harder punching. In addition, he is both taller and has the reach advantage over Estrada. Estrada would get knocked out.
Navarette is damn good fighter. I would love to see this fight happen, but I believe Naverette will move up before Inoue gets to superbantem. Right now I would pick Inoue to win but i think it would be a tough fight. How well would inoue carry his power at 122? How well would he take a punch at 122? I think Inoue is 1 p4p, but he can only move up so many weightclasses before he struggles with the size. Not everybody can be a Pacquaio.
