At best me made it a entertaining drama filled fight, but realistically despite opening up a huge cut he didn't capitalize and at most won 3/4 rounds imo.

Chin? Fury has very little power, he's an arm puncher in 95 percent of his shots. Wallin needs to capitalize on his 15 minutes because Wilder would execute him in 2 rounds. They need to guide him carefully for the most money cause he ain't all that

If he could land that punch 100 times more I'd definatly give him credit.

Of course you can't predict the outcome of a punch. But if Fury been knocked I ut by that punch, it surely been a masterful punch by Wallin. Now he wasn't, but he was cut.

Cut from a punch which Wallin deliberately threw to hurt.

Correct, Wallin didn't do anything special. He's an ordinary C rated contender who just happens to be tall, disciplined and durable.

Now what does this tell us about Tyson Fury? The guy who is supposed to not lose a round beating up the top 5 with one hand bound behind his back?

How many other Wallin fights have you seen to make this assessment? What did you make of his fight with Granat, for example? I mean, you've watched it, right?

And to answer your question 'what does this tell us about Tyson Fury?'.... well, we have to reassess, of course, because a boxer is only as good as his last performance, so that's a negative. On the upside though, he didn't quit in adversity. He was struggling in a fight he expected to dominate, could easily have used the cut as an excuse to quit, but chose to battle on...

Why did I also assess him as a C fighter? The eye test, the same one Fury's people used when they brought him in to lose, come on! , you don't think he was brought there to be competitive , go the distance and bust Fury's head open like a ripe melon, do you? Fury used his size and experience to win the second half of the fight against a C fighter who was gassed after 8

What specifically from the eye-test makes a fighter C level compared to B? What's the criteria? What's the cut-off point between the two categories?

He is a skilled southpaw with size. Top 25 material give or take.

I don't think any of us know Wallin's true level yet. He might do really well and be a top 10 hw or he might get knocked out by a fringe contender. Time will tell.

When I heard of this fight I actually went and watch fights of Wallin that were available. He was nothing special. Feasted on club fighters of Europe. The fights were bad. The one against David Gegeshidze was the controversial one. He went down without even taking a punch to give Wallin a KO win.

It’s like Horn in the Pacquiao fight. He did a lot better than we expected so people freak out

luckily for Fury, he chose an opponent who has zero power, like he always does.
