    It’s not a bad shout. Whatever happens if he does end up being found “guilty” the punishment will be backdated so he’ll barely miss any time in the ring.

    But yeah I believe that “quietly serving a suspension” thing is often the case where footballers are out with “injuries”. I think it’s more common in sport than we think. After all the whole deal with TUEs is merky in itself and shrouded in secrecy.

    If Whyte was serving a ban, i'm fairly sure UKAD would have to post it on their website

    You never know when there are lawyers involved though. From what I know doesn't UKAD also need to post information on TUEs and who has been granted them? Well numerous fighters and boxing figures have stated that AJ gets TUEs and there's nothing about him on their website.

    Remember they recently also redacted the names from their doping bans list although it was easy enough to tell who's who. UKAD is dodgy as ****, I certainly won't give any weight to any rules they claim to follow.

    I still think we never would have known about the failed test if that journalist hadn't fished it up.
    Makes you wonder how many more cases like this there have been

    There was a rugby player recently who was outed for failing a drug test...turned out it was the third time but he had quietly served bans previously. It was for recreational drug use but still...
