Would A.Ruiz have stopped Fury after such a bad cut that early in a fight?

Would Ruiz have beat Fury on saturday based on how sluggish Tyson looked, and would he have stopped him if he cut him this bad?

Willy doesnt know even how to properly punch. He was pawing in round 12, it was embarrassing to witness. Any decente, not top, decent, heavyweight would have stopped fury that night.

I have Fury as the number 1 hw but Ruiz wouldn't have let him off the hook. The fight would likely have ended in ko to either man with Ruiz having the edge

I don’t think Fury would have underestimated Ruiz like he did Wallin, it looked like he spent more time preparing his ring walk than he did for the actual fight. Focusing too much on being a showman is having a detrimental effect on his boxing. Fury-Ruiz is a good match up, but if Parker can get a (questionable) win jabbing off the backfoot then Fury certainly can.

And I think this was precisely the problem. Apart from the Wilder fight none of his opponents had enough power to trouble him but hopefully that was a wake up call to him. I don't think we have seen the last of Wallin either. Decent power, might be a step up fight for up and coming fighters or fighters moving up in weight, ie. the likes of Usyk. Same kind of scenario as with Takam, decent but just not good enough.

    Yes, without a doubt.

Ruiz' handspeed and timing are excellent, and that cut was horrible. Ruiz would land fast punches and stop that Fury, or doctor stops the fight

Ruiz would have buzz-sawed him. And that’s the truth.

Tyson f.ucking stop the touring, stop the cross fitting, stop the fake charity s.hit, stop the celeb smooshing and get back to how you felt on your comeback pre wilder.

Ruiz is still 6'0 and and 74 inch reach ,Fury didn't stop fighting after the cut so not sure why you guys continue to try and give other fighters credit for what others do ? Just like Wilder on que a day after like he was the one who busted Fury open or TKO'd AJ. ( sorry Wilder that wasn't you ,you cannot say look at me over here ). Doesnt work like that ….had Ruiz cut him he still has to plod near and reach Fury ,theres no evidence Ruiz can do that off an inside AJ fight .

Ruiz is 6'2 and punches far harder than Fury`s opponent willy and his hands are far quicker than Fury`s were v Willy also, his guard is tight as a drum, watch his fight with AJ again and keep an eye on where his gloves are during the whole fight, very good defense.

Abel Sanchez wasn`t even in the gym training Ruiz for his bout with Parker, RAuiz had to train himself, Sanchez went away to train other fighters, Steward used to do the same thing to Lewis, Ruiz countereed AJ`s jab far more tan he countered Parker`s jab.

Probably. But my point was can see Wallin becoming one of those 'step-up' fights.
