    I think for the smaller fighters no weight cutting is what extends their careers. Look at Pacquiao

    Lomachenko should fight Pacquiao. Even though Pacquiao fights at 147, Lomachenko has fought bigger guys.

    Linares = 155
    Campbell = 155

    Lomachenko is taller, 10 years younger, in his prime, has better defense/footwork, and a "much higher" ring IQ.

    But Manny has the frame for 147, I don't think Loma has. The fact the fighter says himself he will go back down after unifying 135 speaks volumes. But you're right in the respect that dropping back in weight carries risks too.

    Definitely doesn't have the frame for 147. I was thinking 135 could be his version of that. Fighting bigger guys that boil down to the weight while he can eat what he wants, come in smaller, box their ears off with his smaller and quicker frame

    I guess there are two numbers all top boxers take into account when fighting; pounds (llbs) and dollars. I think he suits 130 best but if the better money remains at 135, he'll compromise...

    I was thinking the same. Mayweather was actually switching fight between 147 and 154. He fights best in 147, but he can fight in junior middleweight if there is a good match there. Loma can do the same in 130 and 135.

    I really wish Mikey goes back to 135 and fight Loma.

    If you have watched his fights at 135, they all look bigger than him, silly move moving up any more and he has already said he will move back down.

    Mikey Garcia learned that the hard way.

    Pacquiao had no problems. If you are skilled enough, you are big enough.
