I was wondering too, if Canelo is so damn rich then he can pay extra money for his opponents to take a dive. Especially ones that are at the end of their careers. Hope that it will not happen but you never know. I believe that Kovalev`s power is kind of gone or adapted other style with his new coach but still dangerous fighter. Stamina looks bad sadly and chin/body are shaky.
So much pathetic dive talk. People think so little and low of Kova, that you label him as someone who would take a dive? A guy who wouldnt even cancel the yarde fight for the payday, and risked losing out entirely on the Canelo fight by going ahead with the yarde fight, is now going to sell himself out and take a dive at the highest level? The money wasnt important enough for him to cancel the yarde fight, and in his words, break his word, despite it being very possible he loses the Yarde fight and in turn the Canelo fight, but now its important enough to completely sell out? Sometimes boxing fans are kinda pathetic. They get a very exciting matchup, at the full 175 weight limit, and honestly I cant believe the amount of bitching and moaning Ive seen from Kova fans ever since. Kovas old... Kova wont have time to recover... Kovas taking selfies with Canelo is he throwing the fight? Cant just be excited for the fight. Been awhile since Ive seen a group of fans try and inject this many pre fight excuses and reasons their guy loses.
Because Canelo is involved there must be some felonious angle that these pathetic fans are taking. This is a very interesting fight. I want to see if Canelo can get inside, and if Kov can keep Canelo at bay and stop him.
look at that. its like thorin and gandalf, the younger years. But essentially if you were a LW being paid a mountain for fighting a former WW/LMW then you's be smiling too. How lucky is he?
I dont understand why you have to put **** on your oponent, tbh. Specially in a fight that sells by itself. They get on well, perfect, good for them.
But they are turnin' the freakin' frogs gay! That spoof aside, I still feel Canelo will stop Kovalev. Prime vs Prime is maybe a different story. Kovalev is enjoying the moment as he knows it may be his last massive event.
Maybe he’s too experienced and mature for these press conference shenanigans. There’s a mutual respect between the two, the fight sells itself to boxing fans and Kova’s getting his payday. Happy days...
