If Foreman would have came out against Holyfield and threw everything he had from round 1 on... if he didn't have Holyfield KO'd by round 5 he'd become an easy target and even Hoyfield would have KO'd him before round 12 for sure, Foreman paced himself, he had burger grease for blood and packing lots more weight, he had no choice or get KO'd.
It's cool to talk about George but man did Evander have a chin .. George landed some massive bombs as well .. the left hook at 1:40 was brutal ..
Most chins shatter sooner or later, Holyfield's chin had been pounded on in Wars like the Foreman fight and eventually it shattered in the last Bowe War!
Not really because he went on to take the best shots of two all time hitters in Tyson nd Lewis .. the issue w Evander is what the hell did he put in this body ? The muscle gain, the fluctuations, the heart health issue, the inconsistent stamina problems .. no doubt Bowe caught him in the third fight but the man seemed so gasses and later claimed health issues .. a lot of questionable things with Holyfield but his chin and his courage were not two of them ..
And you clearly don't know what you are looking at, or for some reason don't want to know. This thread is asking why he didn't go down. Foreman is durable, we are looking at the why. If you don't want to discuss that, you are the one wasting your time posting and reading. I'll add you to my ignore with the other trolls.
Some of Foreman's knockdowns in the 1970's were because he was tired. The older Foreman took a good punch, he was rocked a few times, but never went down. Relaxation, extra weight and not punching himself out are reasons why.
