Just wow. Khan has been saying this to Hearn for years. So another bum opponent each before Khan changes his mind again and Brook wastes another year?
A 7 page thread about Khan and Brook shows they still attract attention. Whether they are both past it or not and whether they're just in it for the money now, is another matter. The fact that Eddie and Khan can both say in interviews this week, that they're in talks again makes people talk about it again, until there's radio silence again. This shows people will be sold the hype and PPV in the end, whether they want to admit or not. It's like a Primark version of the Mayweather Pacquiao saga and we all know people ended up buying into that in the end.
Khans never wanted the fight, I’m not a fan of either fighter but Brook stops him early and for that reason I still want to see the fight.
FWIW it's still a huge British fight. Will be until either has a run of losses versus poor opposition. Sadly, we're all suckers who will tune in.
Because neither are prime anymore I'd rather see Khan making s**tloads with good business move fights as Brook watches on, inactive and envious.
Brook will smash Khan. The stripper Michael Zefera is a better win than any of Khan's wins in the last few years.
With a strong undercard it could sell well at Bramall Lane in May or so. Why not. Spence v Brook did 27k and lets be right most fans there didn't know anything about Spence before that fight was made. Stick a few of the big name US prospects or a Usyk on as co main/chief support and the hardcore lot will be happy too
I would watch it but I'm not bothered whether it gets made or not and certainly wouldnt buy a ticket anymore.
