He probably should. Punch resistance looked pretty non-existent and his power doesn't seem to be what it was at middle. If he wants to keep on at low level he can but not much money in it, and could still lose as we saw last night.

Kid chocolate is a cuban legend of the sport, from the first part of XX century. Some people say he's the greatest cuban fighter ever. That's saying a lot. You know, it's subjective though. I have never watched him fighting, hence, I say nothing.

A true legend. Let me check his record, not important, but nevermind, 136-10-6.

Oh, I didnt answer your question, I guess chocolate is for his skin, black as chocolate. I guess, not sure.

    His name, Eligio Sardinas Montalvo.

First cuban world champion, btw, I didnt know that.

His career at the elite level is over. When you lose to Angulo, your career is just about over.

I noticed this last night. Angulo said Virgil was a father to him, Angulo was really firm on Virgil being a father figure to him. What the heck man

He's not the best trainer when he needs to get his fighters to make adjustments during the fight. However, I do think his fighters come into the fight at peak condition.

Incest taboos aside, the idea of those lard ass gypsies clapping each other's ass cheeks is a disgusting enough thought, I'd be for passing a law that allows the state to enact mandatory castration for all fat gypsies upon hitting puberty.

I consider him one of the best trainers out there. Specially for fighters like angulo. Sanchez and roberto garcía are the 2 trainers I would choose for angulo if I had to choose.

I have to admit that I'm very impressed by angulo getting this win. I thought he was completely done, I wouldnt have put one single euro on him. Not even only one. Glad to see he proved me wrong, he's a brave fighter, he deserves his victories, he never got anything for free and paid every win with blood. Nothing but respect for fighters like him.

This site really is full of a bunch of pearl clutching ninnies. Why the **** should he? Is he special? Why is he to be treated like such a delicate little daffodil? So what he's lost twice. Mickey Roman, John Molina Jr, Orlando Salido, Curtis Stevens, Gabriel Rosado, Kiko Martinez and yes even Alfredo Angulo have all lost more times than I can even remember, and taken some wicked beatings in the process, where's all the people saying "oh my God, holy **** they must retire now?"

It had nothing to do with him being extra shot last night. It was simply a styles make fights thing, Angulo would've always been a problem for him, as would any half-decent pressure fighter with a good chin and heavy hands. I mean, Gabe Rosado isn't even a renown pressure fighter and he was having success and buzzing him years ago. Konecny as crappy as he is, was even having a little success. Zerafa was out working him in almost every round, and Hassan N'Dam won every round wasn't dropped In. He just needs the proper opponent to shine, Uncle Al just needs to feed him steady diet of J'Leon Love types and he can get a few more paydays out of it and look half-decent in the process. I mean, it's not like Super Middleweight is some ultrastacked division start with. He's always been a bit chinny, but still tough, if he wasn't he would have gone down against Angulo, and stayed down when Andy Lee dropped him. So if anything his punch resistance was better than usually is last night. So no I don't think he should retire.
