That’s a fair post. I think his lack of power comes from not sitting down on his punches. It is always self preservation first with Fury so he never plants his feet, and leans back and steps off his shots.

Jurgs has no problem expressing his opinions. He doesn’t need me to defend him but there was no racial agenda in that post. Just to add, if I remember right, he thought Wilder beat Fury.

I woulda said it depends on his most recent fight how he is rated....

Although did overhear a lad in the gym 3 weeks ago who boxed saying" swear down... It doesn't matter what generation fury was born in... Ali, foreman, Louis, tyson... He beats them all".... I burst out laughing... And I like fury

Fury is the same height as Wilder or only half an inch taller at most.

I shudder every time I see someone claim Fury as 6’9.

Its not his ability to express an opinion, or the need to defend him.

Its about the bias and double standards that exist with his opinions and the fact that you seem to condone it by liking his opinions and not calling out the double standards.

How many times has he called X fighters a pudding???

When has he called Fury a pudding? over the wallin and schwarz ppv

And compared to other PPV pudding stars did Fury fights even deliver entertainment? No they didnt

Same thing that at times kept Ali from scoring what obviously could have been a knock out (Ali-Frazier 2 for just one example). But Ali did plant himself, especially when he knew he had someone, and he could be a really good puncher (mostly in a snapping, accurate way) when he did so.

That kind of style is also what I think ruined Howard Davis Jr. Sooner or later a fighter (even a not-great fighter) has to plant himself and rotate properly to get respect. Davis seemed to think he'd float to a championship (I think Biggs in the beginning might have thought the same way).

Id rather move away from the labelling of deluded fanboy at focus on what it is that the fanboys say that is deluded.

Like not calling someone stupid but saying “what you just said was stupid or what you did yesterday was a stupid thing to do”

Now I am Dillian Whytes number 1 fan in the world, but ive never hyped him up. He has earned his accolades and his stripes and I merely highlight factually just how impressive his feats are.

Now if you happen to think for example that beating an opponent with 15 years experience in boxing over you while being 3 years younger is not a significant win worthy of praise no matter how close it was then you are a bit of a *******

Am I deluded for hyping a win like that? Even if
It was close? Even if there was an accidental headbutt?

    15 bloody years jesus

    FIFTEEN
    GOD DAMN IT

It takes. 10K hours to get
    Good at
Something and here we have 15 bloody years

AND HE IS YOUNGER!!! Where else has this happened???? Where???

The actor Vince Vaughan (6’5) was in Fury’s dressing room before the Wallin fight and I’d say Fury was only 2 inches taller than him at most. Heavyweights have always tried to promote themselves as bigger than they are.

    That is all bull****

Fury planted his feet and mustered up all the venom angles and torque and leverage he could to hit Wallin and get
Him out of there quickly and it still did nothing

Absolutely undeniable proof he is weak handed and negates the ‘he doesnt sit on his punches” BS still touted by his die hard subservient cultist groupies on here

He couldn't beat Wilder, who to me is the fighter with the most potential in the heavies today (he just needs a Steward-level trainer to get his jab and boxing up. I believe if Wilder even had a very good jab he'd be dominating right now).

You are quite possibly the most biased on here, Ad. You are obsessed with Whyte & he can do no wrong. I like Jurgs posts when they either make me chuckle or I agree with them, sometimes I don’t agree with them so I don’t click like. Simple.
I think he’s of the opinion that previous generations were much stronger than the current one where Chisora has headlined a PPV show for example against a fighter who didn’t (and still doesn’t) possess a world title and has quite possibly some of the worst footwork we’ve seen from a regarded ‘world level’ heavyweight.
