    Why is Jacobs fighting Jr?? I would rather see him try and get a fight with Charlo Saunders or someone else.

    coming off a loss and moving to a new weight division and he will get good amount of cash for this fight.

    will give him a pass but he better fight someone good after this.

    Eh... Im ok with this.

    Jacobs last 5 opponents combined record is 143-1

    He's coming off a loss, hes not a reigning champion... hes fought Golovkin, Derev and Canelo in a short span... so Im absolutely cool with him having a showcase fight against a well known fighter. Actually Im happy for him... will be a nice payday and will get some decent publicity.

    After this, get back to targeting the top of the division.

    You raise a very good point. I agree. This is a good payday for the guy. Plus, he will get more exposure to casual boxing fans due to this fight.
