Surprising how long Chavez senior managed to keep going without his heart exploding considering how much coke he was doing

To Be fair, he still went on to do well. Was decent (but not aggressive enough for me) in the rematch but got caught with a hail mary punch. Embarrassed Eubank Jr.

Oh don't get me wrong mate... I was a big fan of groves.. I liked him as a fighter.... Liked him as a person . Great power, brilliant jab,lot of heart and he had a good career... Really hoped he would beat Smith but just not to be.

But on the way up he looked like a fearless wrecking ball with great skills... There seemed to be a mental fragility after the froch fights... He had so much self belief when he was undefeated.... Just didn't seem to look the same in the ring after.... I could be talking **** and looking through rose tinted glasses though haha

I always wondered what if Mansour never went to jail, could he be one of the top guys at that time...

This was going to be my response but you beat me to it. Can you imagine a worse decision than to ask Mike Tyson from that time period to judge a beauty contest? Mike has mellowed and would probably be a decent choice today. I think weed was a good choice for him. Mellowed him out nicely.

I still can’t believe how his body transformed into the Pillsbury Dough Boy. He was a monster at MW and my favorite fighter at the time. He didn’t take RJJ seriously and I would have loved to have seen a series of fights between those guys. In stead, Tony became very well nourished and are himself up the ladder. He had ATG skills but no discipline.

Fanman changed both Evander and Riddick Bowe's career. Bowe's wife ended up leaving the ring in early labor due to the commotion, Bowe was preoccupied with that for the rest of the fight allowing Evander to take control and regaining the title.

Roy getting called out by Tarver changed his career. He likely would've had one more HW fight (against Tyson) then retired while being considered one of the greatest of all time. He subsequently never retired because he wanted to regain the aura of invincibility and chased it for another decade.

Marcos Maidana's loss to Devon Alexander made Maidana reevaluate his career and life. That loss was likely one of the best things to happen to Maidana.
