When Eddie's saying don't do it and Frank as his ex promoter is saying don't do it and the vast majority of people discussing it are saying don't do it, he really should think on.

The Essex boys won’t be there for obvious reasons.

Maybe he’ll come in snorting coke off of the roof of their green Range Rover though.

I get the impression with Nigel Benn that the ore you tell him no the more he wants to do something. I've seen that he's referring himself as Nigel 'Benjamin Button' Benn, the guy is deluded, he hasn't boxed in nearly half of his lifetime and he wants to go in with someone who was a World Champion 5 years ago. Benn's spin on this is that he's in better condition now because he's not doing gear and living the reckless lifestyle that he did in his prime years, I'm not buying it, I don't care how good you look in 15 seconds of shadow boxing on Instagram, inside the ring for a few rounds will be totally different.

There's been a continued and good discussion in the Tyson Fury - Overrated / Underrated thread about his mental health and I have to wonder what state Nigel's mind is in? He's had serious issues in the past and he sounded punch drunk and looked wide eyed when trying to explain his reasoning for this. Young Benn, past his best was retired on his stool 23 years ago. He is now fighting a man out of his timeline who was a contender not so long ago and is 15 years his junior. How can this be closure, whether Benn wins or loses? His opponent is wrong in many ways - unless like another poster has mentioned, the fix is in and Benn wants to have a W as his last fight. If that is true, then it won't help him, not really.

Anyone else fancy benn to actually win it. Looks in great shape. Not arguing its anything but madness but benn is a bit of a one off. He should come back fighting absolute stiffs and see how far he can go. Bet he can still fight. Bikas a crazy one for a comeback tho.

bookies are 7/2 and 4/1 and that is biased due to his promo vids and Bika being non existant for a year or two.

Freddie Flintoff will be after PPV Pie next after hearing about this farce and Chris Eubanks Snr currently shadow boxing in Trafalgar Square hoping to catch Eh Day Hearn's eye.

The closure he talks about may be something else. When his corner waved the fight off against Collins after the 6th it was almost immediately upon his sitting down (8 seconds after) where they patted him on the back and motioned to the ref that he was done. And he was done, he was exhausted, but given the opportunity I believe he would have carried on to oblivion.

Maybe the RTD is the problem, the only one of his career.

He probably just has been smashing gym and feels great, so thinks he can still whoop some ass.
