No evidence should be asked for, or required, but hanging your hat on him definitely being mentally ill is just the same as saying he's definitely not. No one knows for sure and therefore I take a neutral position on it.
Ok - comparison between Fury and Paul Gascoigne. A quick search of Gascoigne and his mental health conditions reveals that he was treated at the Cottonwood de Tucson addiction clinic in Arizona. His psychologist John McKeown references the various illnesses he has suffered. There is confirmation that he was admitted to the Priory Hospital on several occasions where McKeown works as a therapist. He was also sectioned under the Mental Health Act and at the hospital in Arizona was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This isn’t a game of mental health top trumps, but with Fury there is none of this. No hospitals, no treatment centres, no clinics, no admission of any diagnosis, no doctors, no nothing. Just Tyson, a serial liar, saying he was mentally ill at the same time he’s banned anyway for being a drug cheat. And the response? ‘Tyson wouldn’t lie, he’s a gypsy!’ Pull the other one.
I don't really want to reply to you on this anymore, but that wasn't my point and I think you know that really. Tyson has history of lying and exaggerating - we all know that. He's a flawed character and as just one example, I don't think he donated his purse to the homeless. My point, for the avoidance of doubt, was that I think that being a Gypsy makes it less likely he'd make up something on mental health specifically. There's less acceptance of such issues in Gypsy society. In the links I provided he talks about going to see professionals to get treated - I don't know why you are so desperate to know specifics, his dad has also talked about going with Tyson to get treated. I don't really have much more to say on the matter to you - you clearly hate him for some reason; that's up to you. I just feel a more understanding human response would be to give him the benefit of the doubt on this issue.
Have you ever considered that maybe Tyson has told those around him that it's all nonsense and that the mental health stuff is just all good for his image?
Well it's possible I guess however it's exactly the sort of conspiracy someone who hates Fury would dream up!
Fury sold 3600 tickets out 18000 against Wallin = overrated The next Muhammed Ali???? Hahahahaha Hahahahahahaahaha Hahahahaahahahahaha
Because he is an easier opponent duh Hahahahahahahahahahahah Hmm should I pick a hard guy to defend against my belt or an easy guy??? Hmmmmmm decisions decisions
It’s kind of irrelevant anyway as Whyte is sitting out an unofficial 6 month ban but he would get smoked by Wilder. His chin would be on a platter for Wilder’s right hand. Wilder isn’t 6 foot tall like the Rivas’s and Chisora’s of this world, he doesn’t have to work his way inside to be effective. That right hand can land on Whyte’s head from several feet away. I’d love to see it.
