No, not an ode to Jay Leno or other people with prominent jawlines.

Who had the sturdiest chins in boxing history? Not 20, 15 or even 11, just your top 10.

Gene turney could give Jay Leno a run for his money.

Most of the obvious Heavyweight ones (Chuvalo, Ali, McCall etc.) have been named, but an honourable mention should go to Marion Wilson. Only a journeyman but he faced a lot of the better Heavyweights of his time, and none of them stopped him.

Gaspar Ortega is another (relatively) obscure great chin. And Sanderline Williams, of course.

dunno how true but it did the rounds that howard eastman sparked him out in training, which lead to his subsequent retirement

My rough draft of a p4p chins list:

    1. Marvin Hagler
    2. Jake LaMotta
    3. George Chuvalo
    4. Joe Grim
    5. Battling Nelson
    6. Muhammad Ali
    7. George Foreman
    8. James Toney
    9. Rocky Marciano
    10. Barney Ross

Shoutouts to dudes like Marion Wilson and Don Mogard, journeymen and professional losers who probably should be on this list but I didn't feel comfortable putting them there because it'd open pandora's box. Oh and GGG, who I didn't put on there because hes actively fighting and could be knocked out at some point

    Wayne McCullough

Not saying he had the best but do remember him going 24 rounds with prime Naseem Hamed and Erik Morales, took flush shots round after round and was never hurt.

Langford was hard to ko, but never hard to floor, he was down 22 times that I know about.
