Was hoping for Tetteh to at least come out swinging and give Dubois a good workout similar to Lartey but no, he wasn't the best. I guess we'll see Dubois out again once more before the year's out.

I know for a fact that Junior Fa was offered this fight but the money wasn't enough.

Agree, it’s not about age it’s about levels. And Dubois is clearly levels above British. Throw him in with Takam and see how long it takes to take care of him.

I’ve been desperate to see a Royal Albert Hall boxing show since Frank returned to that venue but the reason why I never bothered yesterday is because I saw one YouTube clip of Tetteh and realised he is a diddy. (@Jurgen let’s switch it up a bit and use “diddy” as well as “pudding”. Classic Scottish football patter).

Fight was pathetic but I'm becoming a big fan of Dubois, I like his style in and out of the ring. kind of reminds me of a young Tyson in the way he is quite unassuming, likable and docile out of the ring but blasts them out when he gets in there, its refreshing to see a fighter just get on with it and destroy. but there are a few concerns, he still looks a bit reckless and leaves himself open for the counter, plus needs more rounds in a fight. As said he is only young though, hopefully a lot can be ironed out. Still not sold on him being the next Lennox Lewis until he been in a longer fight against tougher opposition, but then its still early to assume such a thing anyway.

    Fwank........Hughie Fury v Dubois at O2 for British & Commonwealth....put it on early 2020 O2!!

Two young fighters seeing who’s progressed the most....interesting fight, why you think? Also if Dubois wins it elevates him even more and could really get his fan base growing.

Good fight, id like to see it but unlikely now that Hughie is with Matchroom.

I think that is a good fight despite what the majority on here think about Hughie. Dubois leaves himself open and Hughie, when it’s not telegraphed, has a decent check hook and counter right hand.

I said earlier a more realistic opponent is Takam who is now with Top Rank but then again not sure what the plan with him is.

I guess Wallin would be an acceptable opponent too.

Please no! That's bad matchmaking and risky for young Dubois

That's a good point you raise.
Daniel hasn't had much in the way of adversity yet. They need to find an opponent that can turn the screw a bit more. They need to find the opponents that can give him puzzles to solve without been too dangerous.
He hasn't got loads of experience in the ring and it's when the pressure is on, that's when we find out whether a fighter makes the grain.

Once again impressive stuff; the Kevin johnson fight was the best thing that could’ve happened to him.

My Favourite heavyweight fighter around at the minute.

He's splattered 4 opponents in round 1 so am not counting those as full rounds. All done, he has completed just 28 rounds in total. It was a commonwealth belt and he was after it, so fair enough. Over 10 against Johnson he looked ordinary and that fight accounts for more than 1/3 of his total rounds. I don't know what to make of him yet.

I'd love to see it but feel that DDD is leagues ahead of 'shades of Ali' already.

it’s hard not to become a fan of the likes of Dubois and AJ when he was coming up. They’re out in with challenges which apparently they won’t overcome, apparently the Martin fight was too soon for AJ, many picked Martin to beat him, many picked Klitschko,Parker to beat him. He came through every test knocking him out (bar Parker). Dubois is doing the same. I’ve no doubt many would pick Joyce/Fury/Wilder/AJ/ Whyte to beat him, I wouldn’t be shocked if he KO’d any one of them.

Just caught up with Friday nights boxing and I was again impressed with Dubois. I said when the fight was made, it was an awful mismatch - not only had Tetteh not fought outside Ghana, but he’d not left his own village ffs. Still Dubois wanted the commonwealth belt and ‘once the opportunity arose, he closed the show in emphatically style’. Definitely capturing the casuals imagination here like Bruno and AJ did, and having felt his power personally I can account how heavy handed he is. Frank needs to get him back out in December now against a Dimitrenko type. On a side note, I thought Paul Dempsey made himself look a tool when he was being smug and ‘bullying’ Joe Joyce in the post fight interview.

Dimitrenko? He'll just take a dive the first shot that lands lol. Maybe someone who will either give him rounds or come out trying to take his head off is who I'd like to see him in with next. For all his faults, I wouldn't mind seeing him in with David Price next.
