Realistically speaking, it should do around that. ****, they could do only half of the Garcia fight and still make a tiny profit.
If people don't even know who Deontay Wilder is here in the states, trust me when I say absolutely no one knows who Porter is
That would be incredible for these two guys to pull that in. If that happens boxing is in a really, really good place.
Wilder is still a draw. Enough of a draw to sell some PPVs. Porter is no atar, but he is known by enough fans to sell some PPVs. No one is expecting this fight to be some massive Box Office smash.
They've definitely pushed it hard the last 2 weeks. I just don't think this a ppv worthy fight Porter to my knowledge has been a good pbc draw on TV so I feel this may have been a missed opportunity for a big regular TV match I miss the days when ppv was just for the big fights. Guys would be on ppv in huge fights but not on ppv for minor fights I hate the mentality of well he headlined one ppv let's make him ppv every fight from now on
The casuals have seen him. Porter has fought in plenty of big fights. People know him. Look up the ratings his fights have had.
