    Dirrell 20-18. Very cose round, Dirrell did more over the 3 minutes though, fighting well off the backfoot and getting out of the pocket quick. Benavidez starting to warm up though.

    Benavídez is high-blocking as Dirrell sends a dribble of jabs and 1-2s into his chest from afar. Dirrell is stepping halfway in and then bounding away, covering twice as much distance in his retreats as in his advances. Benavídez sticks a jab into the forearms, then plows a sneaky right beneath Dirrell's elbows to plug him in the gut. Messy clinch. Benavídez is barely touching Dirrell on the very tip of his nose with a couple of jabs. Dirrell is backing all the way up into the ropes, then bouncing himself off them and hurtling toward Benavídez with a 1-2, easily sidestepped or backed off from.
