Guy was like a piston. His movements actually remind me of Turpin, in a way. His defense is a bit odd (good weight transfer though as you said) but very cool.
That video doesn't show much of the fight, but Milo Savage looks like a good fighter too. I'd never seen him fight, he is mostly known for fighting a boxer vs. grappler fight with Gene LeBell. Savage gave up a lot of size in that one, plus I think he wore boxing gloves so after LeBell grabbed him there wasn't much he could do. I like the way Lausse keeps his punches short and tight. Few if any of his punches are "outside" of his body. One trainer I had always told us that if you get hit with a punch from outside the body, you have to be closing your eyes and you deserve to get hit. Lausse keeps his elbows against his body and turns his body to get his punching position and his power. He fights like a NYC 50s fighter. I'd be surprised if he didn't train in NYC or have a trainer from NYC.
A lot of Argentina boxers are well schooled aggressively. You would probably like the Flyweight aggressive beast Santos Laciar, and then of course there is Victor Galindez. This content is protected
