Watt would beat a lot of guys. A really good fighter. He beats I think Mancini. Rosario. Kenty. Ganigan Haugen Bramble Paul Espana Ramirez. The guy could fight and has a fine record. And was tough as nails.i like watching him.

I remember when Valero was around, I wanted to see him fight Katsidis so goddamn badly, Would’ve been a bloodbath while it lasted

A prime Roberto Duran, 1972-1979 at lightweight. Alexis Arguello would have out boxed Valero as he did to Jim Watt.

Every elite LW pretty much beats or humiliates Valero and won't give him any chance of finding success. Guys like Duran, Whitaker, Ortiz, Arguello, Laguna, Chavez, Armstrong, Williams, Pac, JMM, Rosario, etc. all make good work on Valero.

Many. My favorite lightweight Ken Buchanan would have taken him to school for starters.
