Kell Brook back for the “big fights”

And by that I mean he’s still chasing Amir Khan ‍♂️ I wonder when it will sink in to Kell’s head that he’s wasted his entire career chasing a “domestic dust up” that no one even cares about, such a shame as he had so much potential.

 

Add the word 'Money' or 'Cashout' or 'Retirement' in your title in between Big and Fights.

The guy has wasted his entire career obsessing over Khan, it’d be funny if it wasn’t so tragic.

He was 28 years old and in the prime of his life when he fulfilled his dream and beat an unbeaten Shawn Porter for the IBF title, that should have been the making of him but it’s all been downhill ever since, and it’s all his fault for the most part.

 

Kell Brook is a shot fighter.

 

Sadly a badly mismanaged boxer.

Says a lot when Amir khan more money from his against Billy Dib (£7million) than Brook did losing to Golovkin- Spence JR back to back and getting his eye socket smashed.

 

Hearn is a good promoter in general but his management of Brook has been abysmal.

 

I don't think it's Hearn that managers brook, I'm sure it's Kell dad who does it

 

I worded it wrongly, as his dad may take some of the blame but Hearn as his promoter should have gotten him better fights after the Porter win, Frankie Gavin and JoJo Dan and then jumping up two divisions to fight a complete killer in GGG completely detailed his career.

 

I hope not at 147. Brook loses at 147 cause he's so badly drained at that weight it's not even funny. It'll be like Bellew vs Stevenson and McDonnell vs Inoue all over again.

This must be at 154..but knowing Brook he'll be stupid and go for 147.

I've always thought he should create a legacy for himself by winning a world title at 154 and retire..and ignore Khan. He beats Khan at 154 but what does he get out of it? I'm struggling to find the answer, other than money obviously. He doesn't need money, he needs a legacy.

 

Kells fault but I can see why he still wants Khan. Its a easy fight for himself and will also be the most lucrative however he really has thrown his best fighting days away chasing Khan.

The main problem (other than Khan agreeing to getting KO'd by Brook) is Khan can ask for a ludicrous amount of money having made £12m in his last couple he will demand at least £10m for this one as it is "a big domestic fight" but how you gonna pay Kahn and Kell? does this fight generate anywhere near £20m?

Kell should be fighting Liam Smith next but instead he's gonna keep trying to goad Khan wasting yet more time

 

Khan has never had or will ever have any intention of fighting Brook.

 

I think Brook should just retire

 

Yeah he thinks you should quit your job as well

 

I think he should have a meaningful competitive fight. For example Beefy. See how/if he comes through that.
