Did any other fighters use a 300lbs punching bag?

    Seeing as you can buy a 300 lb heavybag online, I am going to guess plenty have used such a contraption.

    I don't know what difference a 300 pound heavy bag would make other than it wouldn't move much and when one of the chain links, or a swivel, or a spring breaks as they inevitably will, from rubbing against each other, there would be the danger of 300 pounds falling two or three feet. If the fighters leg or a child were close to the bag, that could cause a problem.

    This is simply not true. It could really mess up your technique as you trend towards pushing your punches, trying for too much contact time with your fists and leaving your punches out there exposing you to counters. I've used super heavy custom made bags. In my opinion, they are just d*ck extensions. 120-150 pounds is perfect.
