Agreed. Berchelt continues to improve and, as you mentioned, his boxing skills (or at least punch selection/distance management etc) are underrated. I think Miguel stops Valdez late in an entertaining affair. Hopefully, after Loma cleans out 135lbs and moves back down to 130lbs, Berchelt-Loma can get made. I like Loma to outbox the Mexican to 116-112 type decision. Too fast, too much skill.
Good scrap, Berchelt would stop him for me though. Valdez is only in his mid twenties and he has already been in too many wars
I used to be a fan of Valdez but he hasnt elevated his game much. He is still the wide swinging, home run hitter who cant seem to fight in other gears. He trains with Reynoso now so maybe he can tweak his game. Against Berchelt, he is getting that ass whooped. Towel might get thrown in if the ref dont save him. Miguel Berchelt is a killer
