Also if Ruiz does beat AJ again I can't see Haymon wanting Ruiz to relinquish the IBF belt in a mandatory against Pulev only for WBO mandatory to be enforced and for Ruiz to fight Usyk. There's no chance Haymon allows the Ruiz vs Usyk fight.
Kownacki is another WBC puppet for Wilder so it wont happen . We already know this bc he wasn't allowed to fight AJ just like Ortiz and they need to have reinforced opponents for Wilder bc it's going to get thin real quick if he gets by Ortiz and Fury who he could retire Wilder of he gets him 2x and then the plan to avoid AJ has backfired . Either way , Pulev would win over Kownacki in a boring UD .
The plan for what I have heard is if Ruiz beats AJ he will vacate the WBO as it’s not recognised by PBC. Usyk will be called as mandatory for this belt likely against Fury. Fury will avoid this by trying to take the Wilder fight instead. Parker will the be called to fight Usyk. PBC on the other hand will try to either unify Wilder vs Ruiz whilst avoiding the Fury rematch or at worst they will have Ruiz fight his mandatory in Pulev and Wilder will use Fury’s inability to fight in Feb as a get out of that fight and fight Kownacki in a voluntary around the same time as the Ruiz fight with the intention of them meeting in July next year. However if Ruiz does fight Pulev the Dillian Whyte will push for his mandatory fight with Wilder which is why I think they may vacate the Or give Pulev step aside to face the winner.
Did you see what Kownacki looked like after 6 rounds with Kiladze? a good jab and boxing fundamentals will suffice against Kownacki.
In short ,when Joshua wins, Wilder will run away very far ,keep quiet for awhile then announce the Fury fight ,where undisputed will not take place until 2022.bc they will fight a 3rd time after whoever wins. Second case scenario is Ortiz knocks Wilder out and then Fury fights AJ after Usyk if AJ ends up winning. And maybe Ortiz retire Wilder getting a rematch win ? lol Third case is Wilder and AJ win and hold belts after 2020,and Wilder still runs.
Me neither. Pulev holds the record for JTFO KOs at HW. In fact, he's scored way more JTFO KOs at HW than Errol ''Sponge Fists'' Spence has scored regular KOs and stoppages against world class fighters his own size. Funny how we don't see Kubrat riding high on people's P4P rankings like Spence is or even feature on them at all when JTFO KOs>>>everything other than no mas wins
This would be awesome. It would sell well in Chicago even if it was not for a title. The Chicago Bulgarian and Polish fans would definitely come out to support their fighters.
Pulev boxes circles around Kownacki, is this even in question? But everyone falls to sleep by the 7th. Kownacki is easily the most overrated headliner of heavyweights.
Do you think it would sell out United Center or Allstate Arena? Tervel Pulev fought against Ancona who was with a record of 8-7-2 in Chicago suburb of Elk Grove Village and it was packed with Bulgarians. Even Bulgarian soccer legend Hristo Stoichkov was present. So Kubrat Pulev against unbeaten Polish Kownacki, with the Poles coming out too, would sell well even without a title as you have said.
Kownacki's work rate would eventually wear down Pulev, as Pulev does not have the power to Konacki off of him. Possible late round stoppage.
