Ten fighters went the distance with him or stopped him. In other words, he didn't knock them out in one.
If it comes down to hitting a machine to see who has more power between the two then I'd probably pick Wilder. The rest of Wilders punches lack power. But his right hand is one of the hardest punches in boxing history.
Prime Mike Tyson would humiliate Wilder. He would probably have Wilder KTFO in the first round. Wilder may hit harder. Mike brought too much to the table for Wilder to be able to handle.
Wilder probably hits harder but Tyson would destroy Wilder very quickly. Not even competitive. Prime Tyson was levels and levels above Wilder.
Tyson hits harder. May be Wilder’s right hand is not far, but overall Tyson hits harder. And in his prime Tyson would totally destroy Wilder.
Id also add those who were around when M.Tyson was in his prime would most likely see it better and those now witnessing a real time boxer currently being touted as the hardest hitter ever are going to be more susceptible to pick Wilder. This goes back to the easy brainwashing of boxing fans who are told past time fighters were better , the difference here is no one is pushing this narrative because it's a hard sell , most fans were around then are still today who watched boxing unlike kids today who were born in the 90's who are the social media generation now of fans .
Holmes was never knocked out before or after Tyson all the way up to 50 plus of age ,he was knocked down twice , both from one shot right hands ....stop lying. Wilders best win was a 48 year old with currently the worst resume in top 10 bc the bell saved him but he stops M.Tyson ? Wilder doesn't know how to throw combos , he relies on one shot knockouts that's why he gets out boxed but you want to give him credit for all these one shot knockouts like he has a choice ? Ha Tyson would pummel him bc Wilder can't throw back when he's getting hit He can only cover up with a high guard so he'd get flattened without abilities to exchange and slip shots , good luck with Wilders jaw holding up in that one also being a back foot fighter lousy in clinches which add to a severe mismatch. Lol Your a fool so the rest you posted doesn't mean much you wear beer goggles on here ,everyone knows it.
I'd pick Wilder to beat any heavyweight today. But if Wilder was in the era of Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe? I don't think he'd make it even in the top 10 of that era with the lesser fighters around like Ray Mercer, old George Foreman, Tommy Morrison, etc.. You gotta have something more than a right hand and all those fighters had skill, abilities and strengths that allowed them to compete at a championship level, despite their individual weaknesses. Wilder vs Tommy Morrison or Jorge Luis Gonzales would be entertaining regardless of which way it goes.
