At Bantamweight. Does Wolgast, great as he was, manage to bring his dynamism up to Bantam King Jofre? Or does he fall short? How'd you see it? At Bantam, Wolgast was still great, but definitely not peak. He could definitely do things here similar to Harada IMO. Whether he pulls it off, though... He's not getting stopped, that's for sure.
jofre kicks his ass, but the Judges give it to Wolgast cause they dont want to discriminate against the midget……...
I'm familiar with both, especially Wolgast, who I am currently writing about. I can't add much clarity because you could argue either way, given their history (Wolgast with Newsboy Brown; Jofre with Harada), but there aren't many I'd clearly favor over an "on" Wolgast. Guys like McGovern, Al Brown, Fenech, etc.--the ones with the biggest physical advantages--pose the most significant threats. Wolgast was immensely crafty and speedy, however, and those are usually issues for nearly everyone. Regardless of the outcome, I have a strong feeling Jofre would struggle with Wolgast's rapid-fire jabs and craft.
Wow you're writing about Wolgast? That's ****ing awesome! I already appreciate your work. Do you have a planned release date, or is it still early. I'll definitely buy it. Also, am I the only one who think wolgast looks like Tobey Maguire?
He definitely has that look. It's not a book that I'm writing. It's an article that's a continuation of my series on the greatest defenders ever. It's looking like my longest, however, because so little is known of Wolgast. I do appreciate the interest and I'll make sure you are notified when it's up.
I appreciate fellas. I'll create a thread and let everyone chime in. I'm always keen on feedback, good or bad.
